1. Technical Writer at juniper
The iX team in Bangalore is looking for a technical writer to create customer-focused product documentation, including comprehensive concepts, examples, tasks, and reference information for Juniper’s Network Management and Cloud Services products and applications. The Information Experience (iX) team develops and delivers the content our customers need to install, manage, and configure Juniper’s products and solutions.

Responsibilities
- Work with a team of writers and editors based in Bangalore and Sunnyvale, CA, USA, to research, plan, and write software documentation for Juniper’s Network product platforms.
- Produce a range of deliverables, from short feature descriptions and configuration examples to full user guides.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify requirements and develop best-in-class documentation.
- Analyze specifications and product descriptions.
- Follow established style and process guidelines to provide consistency and completeness.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS in Communication, Journalism, English, Computer Science, or related degree, or comparable experience.
- Minimum 5+ years experience writing product documentation for enterprise/service provider networking products.
- Excellent writing, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, rich technical content that presents information in easy-to-understand plain language.
- Experience with XML authoring tools and content management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in API documentation is desirable.
- Experience with online help.

Responsibilities
- You will Research and write documents such as usage procedures, technical notes, troubleshooting guides, user guides, online help.
- You will Keep all assigned documentation components updated with the development of their products, while meeting.
- Guide the process of having documents reviewed and approved, status and issues to facilitate coordination with a global team.
- Collaborate with development, testing, marketing, professional services, and related groups through the product-lifecycle process to collect information, meet requirements, and help with product development.and self-edit own work and help edit the work of other team members. Help engineers improve their own documents.
- Meet requirements for speed, deadlines, and methodology.
- Maintain focus on delivering documentation in the most efficient and productive way.

Requirements
- 2-5 years' experience in building and improving commercial, enterprise-class online and print-styled software documentation for the full range of end users.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and document technical, abstract, or advanced concepts clearly to any audience level required by a product.
- Demonstrated excellence in technical writing; candidates will be asked to an exam.
- Strong experience with solving communication problems for conceptually complex products, especially those including subjects such as networking, security, databases, and application-server architectures
- Direct experience with network security products is highly desirable.
- Experience with authoring tools like XMetaL and oXygen Editor, advanced MS Word skills, content management systems like AuthorIT, Trisoft, graphics tools like MS Visio and Adobe Photoshop, and screen casting software like TechSmith Camtasia and Adobe Captivate.
- Experience with DITA and Trisoft will be an added benefit.
