Job Role : Production Coordinator
The Production Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of Production, product raw material movement, product PO’s and delivery, quality data, Production communication with factories (domestic and overseas) for Accessories & Apparel. Will report to the VP of Production and work closely on the day-to-day needs for Production.
Responsibilities
- Data entry style info and ensure the accuracy of data, including the tracking of each production order on a master production WIP report.
- Match invoices to Production PO’s, and accruals along with a collection of chargebacks on monthly basis.
- Receive all production PO inbound shipments, cross-check data to ensure data is accurate with no discrepancies.
- Issue and track finished goods PO’s and work closely with the VP of Production to ensure on-time delivery of quality.
- Update and maintain all production style data in the ERP (Netsuite) System.
- Work closely with Freight Forwarders & Customs Broker to ensure the shipping documents, Duty, HS codes are submitted timely and accurately for product importation and update the ERP system.
- Proactively troubleshoot and solve production issues impacting the on-time and accurate/quality delivery of the product.
- In partnership with the VP of Production establish a replenishment strategy for Production re-orders.
- Facilitate receiving process by ensuring the accurate shipping documents & invoices from factories are submitted to the accounting department, warehouse by the specified deadline.
- Communicate Production product quality issues to the VP of Production; initiate solutions; QC, own the circle of communication from problem discovery to problem resolution.
- Review Top of Production (TOPS) in conjunction with Product Development and Technical Design and communicate any approvals/issues to the VP of Production.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the delivery of raw materials / Trims in order to ensure on-time delivery of finished Production product.
- Run weekly reports to send to the VP of Production and track ATS inventory on the EPR system.
- Coordinate the logistics between raw material suppliers and the factories (domestic and overseas)
- Continually monitor and track factory performance based on established vendor scorecard and provide feedback and information to Director of Production; communicate critical issues; continually assesses vendors to allocate products appropriately based on strengths, quality, capacity, delivery, and MOQ.
- Perform work in accordance with Customers Vendor Compliance Operations Manual & ordering of UPC Ticketing as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and/or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience with Accessories, Apparel garment manufacturing (domestic and overseas)
- Experience with Shipping & Logistics.
Technical Skills and Experience
- Netsuite, Full Circle, or equivalent ERP proficiency
- MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Adobe Illustrator.
