Position : Consultant
What they are looking for?
- You are responsible for supporting/enhancing custom applications that uses Oracle database following best Practices in industry.
- The ideal candidate should be able to take ownership of supporting custom applications developed to meet complex business requirements.
- You will closely work with IT and Business Leaders to understand their functional challenges and provide solutions to address them.
- Individuals with a minimum of 4 years of experience independently supporting and developing solutions in Oracle database preferred.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelors’ degree in Engineering Computer or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Support the long-term technical vision for the team and organization
- Build highly reliable, available and scalable solutions in Oracle database to meet business requirements
Qualification
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as DBA for Oracle EBS Implementation and Strong Support of Oracle Applications (patching, troubleshooting, Concurrent Managers Management).
- Administering and maintain Oracle Apps Rel 12.2.8 (12.2.X) versions
- Support knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2012 Database Servers with Hyperion (FDMEE, HFM)
- Oracle Application Cloning using Rapid clone. Multi node to Multi node, Multi node to single node.
- Good knowledge in installing the RCU schemas and Domain Creation in multimode environment.
- Administering and maintain WebLogic servers 12c
- Good knowledge of shell scripting.
- Experience and proficient in Application Patching using AD and ADOP Utilities and strong analytical and problem-solving skills in Patch Management.
- WebLogic JDBC connection pool and multi-pool configuration with Oracle Database.
- Applications sysadmin tasks like creating and managing users and their responsibilities with SOX Audit compliance
- Applied maintenance packs, family packs, mini packs and database patches with adpatch, Opatch utilities.
- Good implementation knowledge of Shared Appl_Top and Shared application tier
- Good knowledge in designing and configuring Clustering, Load balancing, High Availability JDBC connection pools, Data Sources in weblogic servers.
- Good working knowledge of the Restoration, recovery and cloning using Rman
- Configuring Web Logic Plug-ins for Web Server including setup of Secure Sockets Layers (SSL) for data encryption and client authentication using digital certificates and java key tool for secured applications.
- Oracle Database backups using RMAN, Hot and Import/Export
- Experience in installation of OBIEE clusters and code migrations of data models and reports
- Hands-on experience with database installations, upgrades and patching (both application and DB patches)
- Good working knowledge of CPU/SPU/PSU/one-offs patches
- Applying the CPU patches in every quarter from dev to prod for oracle and weblogic instances.
