In this scheme of things, an article or a chapter equals a URL.

Over the last two years, TNQ has tested this concept and the associated processes and technologies in live production for the Review of Agrarian Studies (ras.org.in) with an HTML platform in which the whole process from submission to publishing is managed online. The page view is nuanced by the rights that each actor is entitled to, configured also to each actor’s time of intervention. TNQ expects to find market relevance for this technology among a large number of society publishers.
