About RGCB
The Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology is a growing phenomenon. RGCB began in 1990 amongst humble surroundings as a small charitable society called the C-DEST. In 1991, recognizing its potential, the C-DEST was made a "Grant-in-Aid" institute of the Government of Kerala and renamed as Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Development of Education, Science and Technology (RGC-DEST), becoming the first institute in the country to be named after Sri Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minster of India.
1. Junior Research Fellow
Qualification
- Post Graduate Degree with a first class in Biological Sciences/Life Science/Reproductive Biology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Zoology from a recognized University.
- Candidate should have qualified National Eligibility Test - CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship or GATE
2. Lab Assistant
Qualification
- A UGC recognized Graduate Degree (B.Sc.) in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized university or Institute with a first class.
- Excellent communication skills as well as proficiency in written and spoken English and Malayalam
Salary - ₹ 20,000/- + applicable HRA per month.
3. Project Technician
Qualification
- Master's Degree in Biotechnology with minimum one year experience
