Muse is hiring a Video Content Intern
- Looking for experience in the entire video process (pitching, pre-production, production, post-production) in order to understand the different parts of the process and decide what role they would be most interested in pursuing further.
- You’ll work 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day, for 3 months (May start date desired), and the hourly rate is $18 - $22 per hour based on prior experience.
- The role is fully remote.
- This position reports to the Executive Producer and the Content Operations Manager.
How you'll make an impact
- Pitching - researching for pitches, helping the Exec producer with pitch design
- Budgeting - assisting the Exec Producer creating and managing budgets
- Coordinating Onsite- Managing Egencia (travel booking software) and fielding vendor travel queries
- Footage management/wrangling - managing footaging and shoot notes coming in from onsite shoots happening across the US and handing off to the edit team
- Edit producing/QCing - reviewing remote videos captured on a third party platform to ensure they pass QC and can be used in the edit
- Final Delivery - Backing-up and delivering final videos, tagging and captioning videos on JW player and deleting old versions
Why we'll love you
- You’re detail-oriented
- You're comfortable using Airtable or other project management tools
- You’re proficient in Google Suite- Prior design experience in pitch or deck creation is a plus
- Prior photo & video editing experience using Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
- Prior coordinating experience: booking travel, kit rentals and liaising with vendors is a plus
- You have an interest in both the creative and logistical components of this role (someone who wants to be either a producer, or edit producer in their career)
