How and when does Chegg pay its experts?
- We process Expert payments once a month.
- Payments are processed through NEFT Bank transfer by 15th of Every month for the answers submitted in the previous month between 1st – 31st .
- For Example- For all the Valid responses submitted by an expert between 1st – 30th April 2020, payments shall be processed by 15th May 2020.
Note: We do not process payment through Paytm /Google pay/ Airtel Money/Cash.

Are you required to pay a fee when starting my application?
No, we do not charge any fees at any point in time or during your tenure while working with Chegg.
I am not an Indian. Can I still apply as a Chegg expert?
To work as a Chegg expert, it is mandatory to provide the following;
– Indian PAN card
– Indian Bank account
– Proof of Address issued in India (any one of Driving License, Voter ID or Aadhaar Card)
You are eligible to enrol as an expert if you possess fore-mentioned documents.
Chegg asks me for my Bank and PAN details. Is it safe to share?

Salary details:
I signed up but not able to login to my account now. What should I do?
- Kindly ensure that you are entering correct Email id and Password when logging in. Both Email ID and Password are case sensitive.
- In case you forgot your password, please click on the ‘Forgot Password’ option on the login page. You can reset password using the email ID you registered with in the first place.
Can I select/register for more than one subject?
At time of recruitment, a candidate can apply for only one subject.
Why am I not able to see the subject of my choice when signing up?
- We hire experts on a first come first serve basis.
- For each subject, once the enough experts are onboarded, it is turned off and is no longer visible to candidates submitting fresh applications.
- As and when vacancy is there, we will re-open those subjects.
I exhausted all my subject/guidelines test attempts but could not qualify. What should I do?
As per our hiring policy, you may re-apply after 30 days.

Which educational documents am I supposed to upload?
- In case you are a student and are yet to complete graduation, please upload a soft-copy of your college identity card (ID). Alternatively, you can also upload a copy of you latest mark-sheet issued by college.

I do not have a PAN card, what should I do?

I do not have a Bank account. Can I use someone else's details?
We only process payments to bank accounts of experts, which are taken in their own name.
As an applicant, you are required to furnish details of your personal bank account. The details you provide are verified.
We shall not accept applications where bank details of other individuals are provided.
I received an email asking me to re-submit my bank account details. What does this mean?
It means that the bank details furnished by you could not be verified. Hence, we have reset your bank details.
